Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Horrible customer service! I am with a collision center and called for a customer to be picked up for a reservation he clearly had. Rick continually stated that they do not service our area instead of checking for the customers reservation. I gave him all of the customers information he then checked and outright lied stating that there was no reservation. Once I hung up I called the Memorial branch and spoke to Mercedes. She informed me that it had just been transferred. I call the NW EXPRESSWAY branch back and spoke to branch manager Ben. He confirmed that the reservation was transferred. I explained the interaction with him and he didn't seem to be too concerned about the conduct of his employee. Would not recommend my customers to this particular branch.

The employees are the only reason this company is even getting 2 stars, they're lovely people. But it is 2023, credit cards are all but a thing of the past, for my generation at least. Enterprise Rent A Car not accepting debit cards for rentals at every location, flight itinerary be damned, is outrageous. If the debit card account is with a reputable FDIC insured bank, then why can't you accept that card for payment? I've never received a single ticket, 0 accidents, same car insurance company for over 5 years, I've been with the same FDIC insured bank for nearly 10 years. A debit card can be accepted to buy a vehicle at a dealership, a debit card can pay to move a family into luxury apartments or townhouses. But to this company, the debit card is unacceptable, unless of course I also have a flight itinerary and get the rental from the airport? Absolutely pathetic.

The employees (two males) working here on 12/12 around 1600 sraight up lied to our faces about vehicle availablity. They told us they were booked out so we said ok and we called the main phone number to try to help us with another location and we got a reservation but it was for this location. We called them and he "Magically" found one but we were qouted 550 taxes and fees included over the phone with the main dispatcher but this employee tacked another 300 on for a deposit as he was mad or something . We had to fly into town because our grandma and grandpa are both on their deathbeds and will pass soon and we needed a friendly, professional and reasonable company to work with. I have never been required to put a 300 dollar deposit down before and we rent cars all the time. I'm still shocked at the pettiness we just witnessed. Other than not wanting to work I cannot understand why the hate? Was it because my fiance is asian?? Were you upset because we didn't make a reservation? We are having a family emergency and just needed a car, instead we got your company's heel.

Don’t do it!! i was in wreck and my insurance coordinated a car rental, and i had confirmed a pickup and a car 4 times with them. they never picked me up and told me they don’t do that when i called. i got an uber up there and the guy at the counter mocked me and made fun of me. i told him to just give me my car so i could get the hell out of there. we went around for a minute while he still tried to mock me. i am a human being and will not be treated like that. he refused me service and i had to go elsewhere.

As others have mentioned, customer service is extremely poor. I returned a vehicle and the manager noted damage. I explained I had not caused it and had video to prove it. Because I picked the vehicle up from a different location, I was told I’d receive a call clarifying. I never received a call; instead I received a notification of a damage claim from corporate. I called and was told once the claim has been filed I have to dispute it. Now, I have a lengthy dispute process when it could have been handled in office. Definitely stay away from Enterprise, or at least this location.
